"Women in Science and Engineering, and the Government of NL are hosting WISE Futures 2012 Ambassadors Conference in Happy Valley-Goose Bay April 27-29, 2012. This all expenses paid conference is open to females in grade 10, 11, and 12 who are interested in gaining valuable leadership, teamwork, and professional skills, while having fun in an informal environment. The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay would like to remind the general public that dumping outside the gate at the landfill site is strictly prohibited. We ask that posted signage at the landfill site be adhered to. This site will be monitored and violations will result in fines up to $1,000.00.
