The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay wishes to advise the public that there is no dumping of any kind in the area located between Tooktoshina Drive and Deharving Drive.
Employment Opportunity - Labourer

The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay has an opening for a Labourer position for a term of up to three months.
The duties and responsibilities are as outlined in the Town's Job Description which are available at the Town Office.
Salary is $17.93 per hour as outlined in the Town's agreement with Cupe Local 2019.
The position is open to both male and female applicants.
Applications will be accepted for this position until 3:00 p.m. August 13, 2010.

2010 Street Paving Upgrades

The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay wishes to advise the general public that construction has begun on the 2010 Street Paving Upgrades. The following streets are scheduled to be re-surfaced.
1) Thompson Drive
2) Churchill Street from Broomfield Street to Kelland Drive
3) Broomfield Street
4) White Crescent
5) Pleasant Avenue
6) Hunt Street
7) Commercial Street
8) Paddon Road
9) Burry Crescent
10) Deharving Drive from Roberts Road to Winsor Drive
The general public are advised to proceed with caution in these construction zones. The Town apologizes for any inconvenience that this may cause.

Flushing of Sewer Lines

Nomination of candidates for the by-election to the Council for the Municipality of the Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay will be received between the hours of 8:00 am and 8:00 pm on Thursday, August 19, 2010 at the Town Hall.
