At the December 13, 2007 Council meeting the following policy was adopted:

No person shall store or erect anything outside the property line which interferes with snow removal equipment; furthermore, the cost to repair the damage to town equipment caused by anything stored or erected outside the property line shall be the responsibility of the property owner. Anything stored or erected outside the property line, not removed by the property owner after notification will be removed by Town staff.
 
Water and Sewer
Water Services: The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay's water supply is made up from two sources. The Water Treatment Plant is supplied by 5 deep wells located 6.5 kilometers West along the Trans Labrador Highway.

Wastewater Services: The Sewage Section operates and maintains two Sewage Outfalls, fourteen Sewage Lift Stations and approximately 50 kilometers of sewers, including manholes.

OPEN: 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday to Saturday

CLOSED: Sunday and on the following Statutory Holidays:

Thanksgiving Day
Remembrance Day

Right of Way Policy
No Person or Persons shall plant grass or other materials within 1.5 meters (5 feet) of the pavement.

Grass and or other materials that are presently within 1.5 meters (5 feet) of the pavement will be removed by the Town Employees after notification has been given to the home owners. Grass and other materials will be replaced by crushed stone.

A Person or Persons may plant grass or other materials in the remaining part of the RIGHT OF WAY outside their property line, with the written permission of the Town of Happy Valley – Goose Bay.

The Town of Happy Valley – Goose Bay will not be responsible for any damage to any grass or other material planted in the RIGHT OF WAY, while carrying out services.

The Town of Happy Valley – Goose Bay reserves the right to carry out it duties in providing services within its RIGHT OF WAYS.
